People who buy from a farm gate arrive with very different questions. The beef customer wants to know what a quarter is, how much freezer it needs and when the processing date is. The breeder wants to see the herd. The gardener just wants to know if there is compost and whether you will load the trailer. Most farm websites answer none of that, so every question becomes a phone call during chores.
We built Meehan Farms a site that answers each of them on its own page. Beef, breeding cattle, hay and straw, and compost each get a page in plain words. An order form lets a customer pick a quarter, a half or individual packs and tick the cuts they want, and nothing is charged until the farm confirms the price and the pickup date. Open days and market Saturdays sit on an events page, and the towns the farm delivers to each have their own page.
